Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mrs. Zubaida Umar, has extended warm Eid-il-Kabir greetings to all Muslim faithful across Nigeria on behalf of the Agency.
In the Eid-il-Kabir message she personally signed, Mrs. Umar said “he festival’s call to sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness mirrors our mandate to save lives, reduce suffering, and support communities in times of need.”
“As we celebrate, let’s carry this spirit forward by looking out for the vulnerable and strengthening one another. May Allah accept our sacrifices and continue to bless our nation with peace, safety and prosperity,” she prayed.
The NEMA Director-General also sent a “Happy Children’s day” message to “every amazing Nigerian kid,” saying that at NEMA, “we’re living this year’s theme – ‘Future Now: Promoting Inclusion for Every Nigerian Child.’ “

“We visit schools for safety talks and drills, work with communities to teach simple ways to stay prepared, and make sure children get help first when emergencies happen,” she said.
She reminded the Nigerian children that they are the future, assuring them that NEMA was there “to keep you safe, included, and smiling.”
