Nigeria 126 new Coronavirus cases

Nigeria on Friday recorded 126 new cased of Coronavirus (COVID-19), with the total number of confirmed infections hitting 59,127.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known via its official twitter handle NCDC@NCDCgov·

According to the health agency, of the total confirmed infections, 50,593 cases had been successfully treated and discharged , with 1,112 deaths recorded since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

Giving a breakdown of the new infection, the NCDC said that of the 126 new cases, Lagos had 62, followed by Rivers with 22 and Ogun-9.

The remaining cases came from Plateau-7, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)-7, Osun-5, Kwara-5, Taraba-3, Bayelsa-2, Abia-2, Zamfara-1, and Imo-1.
