Kogi community honors politician, names him ‘Most Friendly Honourable’

Ogugu community in Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State has recognized Engr. Yakubu Yahaya Nurudeen, a former aspirant for the state House of Assembly, as the ‘most friendly honorable’ of the year 2020.

Engr. Yakubu received the award at the just concluded Miss Ogugu Beauty Pageant.

This was made known to the press through his media aide earlier today in Ogugu.

Yakubu who vied for the position of representing the Olamaboro state constituency in the state assembly on the platform of the Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA) but lost to Hon. Bobby Alewo Ujah of the All Progressive Congress (APC, is said to have remained active in the state political scenes contributing his own quota and has maintained friendly relationship with people across political borders.

Other notable awardee at the event was the deputy governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja who was also named as the most active deputy governor of the year.

According to the management of the Ogugu Beauty Pageant, the awardees were carefully picked through observation and records of their activities and contribution towards the community and society at large in the past one year.
