A House of Representative Member representing Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency and Chairman, Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Comrade Chinedu Ogah, has offset the school fees of a law student, who is an indigene of the Ebonyi State.
NATIONAL ACCORD gathered that the name, Chinedu Ogah, has always been associated with philanthropy because of his immeasurable impacts on his constituents, especially the youths who see him as a God-father. He always champions causes that advance the growth of humanity.
Yesterday, Saturday, 17 May, 2025, in a heartwarming display of philanthropy, this altruistic law maker made a significant impact on the life of Mr. Vincent Nwekoyo, a Law student at the Nigerian Law School, who had almost struggled all through his studies due to finance but for the timely intervention of Mr Ogah’s Foundation.
The Rep Member generously offset Mr. Nwekoyo’s Law School fees which amounted to four hundred and seventy thousand naira only (₦470,000). As if that was not enough, the generous law maker, went further to make available to the law student the sum of two hundred thousand naira only (₦200,000) for his upkeep. It was gathered that the said student has been a beneficiary of Comrade Chinedu Ogah’s Foundation which further underscores Ogah’s long-term commitment to nurturing talents.
This uncommon gesture is not only a testament to Ogah’s commitment to supporting education and empowering the youth whom he believes are the next generation of leaders but also a clear confirmation of his selfless service to his constituents.
Indeed, this commendable and progressive-minded demonstration on Mr. Vincent’s education and future has further confirmed that Ogah is not only changing the individual’s life but also contributing to the development of legal profession in Nigeria. This act of kindness will undoubtedly have a ripple effect, inspiring others to pursue excellence in their chosen fields.
It was equally confirmed by the NATIONAL ACCORD that in order to further support Mr. Nwekoyo’s academic pursuits, Ogah also donated a computer system worth of ₦700,000 to him, acknowledging the overriding importance of technology in modern education. This practical gift will enable Mr. Nwekoyo to access digital resources, conduct research, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of law.
Evidently, the constituents have every reason to be proud of their representative who has continued to make positive impacts on their lives.
