Wife of the Ogun State Governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, will on Tuesday October 13, 2020 flag-off free breast and cervical cancer screening for women of child bearing age at Oba Ademola Maternity Hospital, Ijemo, Abeokuta by 10.00AM.
The programme is in commemoration of the ‘2020 Breast Cancer Awareness’ month.
The programme, organised by the Office of First Lady in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, and in partnership with Medical Women Association of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter as well as some non-governmental organisations (NGOs), is to create awareness about cancer and benefits of early detection.
Women have been advised to visit Primary Health Centres in their various local governments for the free screening between Wednesday, October 14 and Friday, October 16, from 9.00AM daily.
