
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has landed back in Abuja, concluding an eventful trip that combined a state visit to France with a shortened working vacation.
His aircraft arrived at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at approximately 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, greeted by a high-profile reception including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, among other digniTinubu embarked on his journey to France on September 4, initially planning to spend part of his annual leave there before proceeding to the United Kingdom.
Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga noted that the vacation was scheduled for 10 working days.
However, Tinubu’s time abroad was not solely for rest. In Paris, he engaged in a significant private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.
The leaders discussed critical bilateral matters, committing to strengthen ties for mutual prosperity and global stability.
