The Chairman of Cross River State Internal Revenue Service (CRIRS), Akpanke Ogar has assured key players in the gaming industry that their tax rate would not be increase despite the economic down turn.
Mr. Ogar stated this on Tuesday in Calabar, while addressing stakeholders during a one-day sensitization program on technological development in the gaming industry.
He noted that the Cross River state Government could continue to interfaced with key players in the gaming industry operation in the state.

“Our idea concerning this program is to interact with the partners on the gaming program; let’s hear their challenges”.
“We are looking for a workable partnership with stakeholders in the gaming industry. Their tax rates are not renewed, what they paid two years ago is what they are still paying,” he assured.
