No fewer than 4 people have lost their lives in a lone accident that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday around Sandcrate area on Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Public Education Officer in Ogun State, Florence Okpe, who confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday, said 10 men were injured, while four other men died.

Mrs. Okpe said the accident occurred at 5.57 a.m., with 20 persons on board the ill-fated Toyota bus marked ZUR 87 ZY.

She attributed the accident to over speeding, adding that the vehicle somersaulted many times before stopping.

She quoted the FRSC Sector Commander in the state, Anthony Uga, as urging drivers to always maintain the required speed limit.
