Software Group, a global financial technology provider, has announced the launch of its Fast-track Agency Banking software for Nigerian banks that want to expand their reach at speed and competitive cost.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the group said the launch would provide solution to the lack of easily accessible bank branches across the country which has affected about 38 million of unbanked Nigerian adults.
According to the statement: “With access to finance or basic bank accounts, people will not have problems in getting their wages, can now boost their savings, grow their business, and consequently pull their families out of poverty”.
“With the launch of Fast-track Agency Banking for Nigerian banks and microfinance institutions by Software Group (SoftwareGroup.com), global financial technology provider, will help many Nigerians”.
The group also said the software would allowed big and small finance institutions to expand their reach at speed and competitive cost.
“Fast Track Agency Banking software allows even microfinance institutions, relative ease of becoming an agent, and they don’t have to fork out millions of Naira. Set up also takes up a minimum of 4 weeks”, the statement said.
