The councilor representing Karshi ward one in Karu LGA of Nasarawa State, Hon. Phillip Ibrahim has vowed to ensure that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will win all elective positions in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Hon. Ibrahim stated this today when he hosted the stakeholders of Karshi to a thank you meeting which took place at the LGEA Primary school, new Karshi ward one.
The meeting which was attended by APC executive members, youth and women drawn from different parts of the ward resolved that they will all mobilise people of the ward to vote for the party they are known for rather than to allow the opposition parties defeat the APC as the party has done marvelously well in the area.
Some stakeholders at the meeting including Mr. Lawan Isa, who is the Special Advisor to Karu LG chairman on revenue generation, Mr. Keita Jubril and Hajiya Lamin Yusuf, all commended the councilor for his effective representation.
They also expressed satisfaction with the Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdulahi Sule for providing them with brand new electricity transformer in the area and assured that they will vote for the party in next year’s general elections.
Earlier in his speech, the Councilor representing Karshi ward one, Honourable Philip Ibrahim told the people that he has deemed it necessary to come home and appreciate them for the mandate and opportunity given to him to represent them at the Karu LG Legislative Council.
He explained that the election has proved to be fruitful as he has been made the Chairman, House Committee on Chieftaincy Matters and attracted many appointments for the good people of Karshi including the recent appointment of sons and daughters of Karshi origin into key positions such as the special adviser to the chairman on revenue generation.
According to the councilor, out of the eleven council wards of the local government area, Karshi is the only ward that deliver massive victory for the APC.
He boasted that next year’s general elections will still be the same as he will mobilise the people vote from the presidential election down to senate, house of representatives and houses of assembly for the APC.
