President Bola Tinubu
By DAVID IORJA, Abuja-
President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a live broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. amid nationwide protests against bad governance.
The president’s address comes at a critical time when Nigerians are taking to the streets to demand better governance and express their dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs.
A statement issued on Saturday by the president’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, said the president’s address will be broadcast on all major television and radio stations, including the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
In addition to the live broadcast, the president’s address will be rebroadcast on the NTA and FRCN network services at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the same day.
This will be a significant address by the president, and all Nigerians are encouraged to tune in.
The president’s address is expected to address the concerns of Nigerians and provide a roadmap for addressing the challenges facing the nation. However, it remains to be seen whether the address will assuage the concerns of protesters and restore confidence in the government.
