Managing Director, Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC), Dr Raymond Asemakaha, has said that the state beer factory would create job opportunities for the youths in the state.
Dr. Asemakaha explained that about 211 job opportunities would be created and 179 indirect jobs would also be generated by the company for the benefit of the Benue youths.
The MD disclosed this in Makurdi on Monday during a birthday celebration at the company headquarters.
Dr Asemakaha informed that the desire of the state government was not only to produce beer but also to create job opportunities for the Benue youths who are roaming the streets.
He revealed that the company has spent about N700m on the factory and according to him work was still ongoing at the factory.
According to him, in the next 30 days, the company would commence the production of leather, wrappers and nails.
The MD, who appreciated God for the gift of life and for adding another year also extended deep appreciation to Governor Hyacinth Alia for the opportunity to serve the state in that capacity and assured that he would continue to do his best to support the governor to succeed.
He also lauded journalists for remaining supportive of him and appealed to them to remain firm in their support to enable him record more successes in his office.
