The Borno State Government has donated solar panels, batteries, equipment and Walkie-talkies to the Nigeria Police Force, Borno State Command with a view to activating a Joint Operation Centre.
The Centre is to serve as Communication unit for Intelligence Sharing amongst security agencies in the State
The presentation was made on behalf of the Borno State Government by the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Modu Alhaji Mustapha, FCNA.
The donation was received on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, by Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, Moses Gana at the Borno State Command Headquarters Maiduguri
