Borno State House of Assembly has passed a supplementary budget of sixty one billion naira sent by Governor Babagana Zulum to enable Government execute developmental projects that will address destructions caused by the recent flood in the state.
The supplementary budget report was submitted by the Chairman House Committee on Budget and Appropriation and member representing Kaga constituency, Hon.Mustapha Ali Benisheikh.
Speaker Rt Hon.(Dr)Abdulkarim Lawan, who presided over the sitting directed Clerk of the House, Gogo Abdullahi to mention the order of the day for deliberations.
Leader of the House, Hon.Dige Mohammed of Kala Balge moved a motion for members to resolve into a committee to consider the report and was seconded by Hon.Audu Mustapha of Magumeri.
On resumption, the speaker of the House Rt.Hon.Abdulkarim Lawan who presided the sitting announced that members considered the report of the Committee and approved the proposed supplementary budget of transparency .
