All is now set for Lobi Stars to host El Kanemi in Lafia on October 16 for a thrilling NPFL match.
The Lobi Stars fondly called “Alia Boys” aim to build on recent form and assert their dominance at home as they face the undefeated El Kanemi Warriors.
A statement by the head of Media of the club, Uja Emmanuel indicated that as both teams are eager to climb the NPFL table, the match promises to be intense and exciting.
The statement said uder Dan Amukachi led leadership, Lobi Stars would focus on key areas to entertain their fans, while Aliyu Zubirou’s El Kanemi Warriors look to extend their unbeaten streak on the road.
It added that fans could anticipate a fierce battle in Lafia as both teams strive for victory.
It noted that the Chairman of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Dr.Philip Nongu, had said in an interview that “we have motivated the players and officials to progress better as the NPFL hots up.”
Dr Nongu, who is also the Director of Sports, Benue State Sports Council, commended Governor Alia for his interest and support for the club.
