The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) is set to unveil its upcoming book, “Nigeria Media Renaissance: GOCOP Perspective on Online Publishing,” on June 17, 2025.
The book will be reviewed by Dr. Ike Neliaku, President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
A book presentation like no other
The event, scheduled to take place at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel, will be chaired by Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi.
According to Maureen Chigbo, GOCOP President, “The book presentation will be a momentous occasion, showcasing the perspectives of online publishers in Nigeria.”
The event will also serve as a fundraiser for the N2.3 billion GOCOP MEDIA CENTRE, a multi-purpose resource center featuring a secretariat, 21st-century library, and event halls.
Ogbuefi Remmy Nweke, GOCOP Publicity Secretary, stated, “The book presentation will be a significant milestone for GOCOP, and we invite all stakeholders to join us in celebrating the growth of online publishing in Nigeria.”
Dr. Ike Neliaku, a renowned public relations expert, author, and public speaker, brings his expertise to the review of the book.
As Chairman of Council, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Chapter of NIPR, and former Senior Special Assistant to the President, Dr. Neliaku’s insights will be invaluable.
