
President Bola Tinubu, assisted by Governor Sule and others, commissioning some legacy projects during his one-day working visit to Nasarawa State.

President Bola Tinubu, has praised Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration for its remarkable progress in Nasarawa State.
During a one-day working visit to the state on Wednesday, President Tinubu commissioned several legacy projects in Lafia, including the Lafia Flyover and Underpass, a 5km dualized Shendam Road, and the New Nasarawa State Secretariat.
The President also unveiled vehicles for Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and security agencies, as well as agricultural equipment, including electric tricycles. Additionally, he symbolically presented the Renewed Hope Social Impact Intervention for households in the state.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting at the Aliyu Akwe Banquet Hall, President Tinubu commended Governor Sule’s hard work and commitment to using available resources for the benefit of the state.
“I could see the hard work coming from Governor Sule, determined to use the resources available to him for the benefit and prosperity of Nasarawa State”

“Sule, is doing well, because a Bola Tinubu, is doing well too. Nasarawa State has seen real transformation and development by the Engineer Abdullahi Sule led administration” Tinubu said.
The President also launched the Renewed Impact Programme for Women, Children, and Families, aimed at empowering women in agriculture. He emphasized the importance of women in the country’s growth and economy, saying, “Women are the backbone of our growth and economy, the strength of our family values.”

Governor Sule, in his remarks, highlighted that the projects were inspired by President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which emphasizes prudent resource management. He noted that the state funded the projects without resorting to borrowing from any bank.
“This project is a combination of an underpass and flyover covering 1 kilometer and this road was built within one year because of the President’s reforms that gave us the support to fund it” he said.
The President’s visit was attended by several dignitaries, including governors from neighboring states and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
