All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has reinstated Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, with immediate effect.
Sani-Giant was suspended on February 28, 2025, for bringing a snake to Government House, sparking widespread controversy.
According to the state Chairman of the party, Alhaji Muhammad Kana-Zuru, the State Working Committee (SWC) studied and considered Sani-Giant’s apology letter and decided to withdraw the suspension.
“The committee resolved to reinstate your membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC),” Kana-Zuru stated.
The reinstatement letter reads, “You are, therefore, by this letter, directed to continue with your normal responsibilities given to you, your rights and privileges thereto are hereby restored.”
