
Olubadan designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja
Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has committed to attending all home matches of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) at Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan to show his support.
Ladoja made this pledge during a courtesy visit by the club’s Chairman, Mr. Taiwo Lekan-Salami, alongside players and management staff, to his Ibadan residence on Thursday.
He praised 3SC as a unifying force for Ibadanland and a proud symbol of the Yoruba people, emphasizing its cultural significance.
“I will personally visit the stadium to watch your home matches to encourage you, because you are not only representing Ibadanland, but entire Yoruba race,” Ladoja said.
He further promised to facilitate increased private sector investment to bolster the club’s funding alongside government support.
In response, Mr. Taiwo Lekan-Salami, 3SC Chairman, expressed gratitude for the royal endorsement, noting its impact on the team’s morale.
“With royal blessings that we just received, we believe 3SC will return to winning ways,” Lekan-Salami said. “Our fans should expect good performance from their darling team.”
