Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the list of candidates shortlisted for the upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) in the ongoing paramilitary recruitment exercise.
The shortlisted applicants are those who applied for positions in the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the Board’s Secretary, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril.
According to the statement, applicants are advised to visit the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — starting from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm their status and access information regarding the next phase of the process.
> “From Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, candidates are to check if they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the exercise as well as centres for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Shortlisted candidates are further requested to take note of the venue, date as well as time scheduled for the CBT,”
the statement read.
The CDCFIB also cautioned applicants to ensure they use only the official portal provided to avoid falling victim to online fraud.
> “Applicants are enjoined to take note of the correct portal address highlighted to avoid being scammed,”
Maj.-Gen. Jubril added.
The CBT marks the next major phase in the nationwide recruitment drive, which aims to strengthen manpower across Nigeria’s paramilitary agencies.
