Ousmane Dembele Crowned Best FIFA Men’s Player of 2025
Paris Saint-Germain’s historic season received global recognition on Tuesday night as FIFA officially unveiled its 2025 The Best Men’s and Women’s 11 at a glittering ceremony in Doha, Qatar.
Fresh from winning their first-ever UEFA Champions League title, PSG dominated the men’s selection, with six players from their title-winning squad earning places in the prestigious lineup. The French giants’ impressive campaign also saw them reach the final of the FIFA Club World Cup, underlining their growing influence on the world stage.
Former PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, now at Manchester City, led the list of honourees, joined by teammates Achraf Hakimi, Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha and Ousmane Dembélé.
The men’s team also featured standout performers from across Europe. Cole Palmer, winner of the adidas Golden Ball at the Club World Cup, was rewarded for a stellar year, while Spanish teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, just 18, capped a breakthrough season with his first appearance in the elite FIFA selection.
FIFA confirmed that the men’s 11 was chosen based on performances recorded between August 11, 2024, and August 2, 2025, with voting split evenly between football experts and registered fans worldwide.
