President Bola Tinubu on Friday played host to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The courtesy visit came just a day after Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, also met with the president at the State House, sparking interest in the series of high-level engagements involving key leaders from the state.
Oba Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, became the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland after the passing of his predecessor, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, in July 2025.
President Tinubu had earlier honoured the monarch by attending his coronation ceremony in Ibadan, where he described the occasion as a reflection of Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, unity, and enduring shared history.
