Burna Boy and his newly gifted Bespoke Widebody Bugatti Chiron
Grammy-winning Nigerian music star born, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, is set to add another extraordinary machine to his luxury car collection after commissioning what is being described as the world’s first Widebody Bugatti Chiron.
The bespoke project is being handled by Dubai-based luxury automotive customization company, Venuum Black, which announced the development on its official Instagram page. According to the company, the vehicle will also become the first Bugatti Chiron in Nigeria when it is eventually delivered.
Sharing a video featuring Burna Boy alongside members of its team, Venuum described the project as a unique creation designed exclusively for the Afrobeats superstar.
“VENUUM is officially creating the world’s first Widebody for the Bugatti Chiron. A one-of-one project built for someone very special to us, a member of the VENUUM family who is achieving massive success worldwide — @burnaboygram,” the company stated.
It added: “This is not just a car. This is a fully bespoke vision, designed from scratch to push the Bugatti Chiron into a completely different dimension.”
The luxury customization firm further teased what fans should expect from the project.
“In just a few weeks, the world will finally see the result. And honestly… it’s going to be absolutely brutal. Something never seen before.”
“We are proud to be part of such an iconic project and even more proud to create it for someone we truly appreciate. Stay tuned… because 2026 is coming with huge surprises.”
Before Venuum’s announcement, Burna Boy had hinted at the project on his Instagram page, expressing his desire for an exclusive version of the iconic hypercar.
“I want a Bugatti Venuum Chiron, something one of one, diamonds on the car and the key holder.”
The announcement has also triggered debate over the vehicle’s actual value. Abuja-based luxury car dealer @abujacar initially estimated the customised Bugatti at ₦2 billion in a post on X before later revising the figure to ₦9 billion, without explaining the reason for the change.
Industry estimates place the price of a standard Bugatti Chiron between $3.5 million and over $5 million, with the final cost depending largely on the model, rarity and extent of customization.
Despite the excitement surrounding the project, neither Burna Boy nor Venuum has released photos or videos confirming that the singer has taken delivery of the car.
Once completed, the one-off Widebody Bugatti Chiron will join Burna Boy’s growing fleet of luxury automobiles, which already includes a Lamborghini Revuelto and a Rolls-Royce Spectre.
