Governorship Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Shehu Nawa ABG, paid a condolence visit to the family of elder statesman, Alhaji Rabiu Bako, who recently passed away in Kaduna.
The visit took place at the family residence of the deceased in Kaduna, where Hon. Shehu ABG was received by members of the bereaved family, political associates and sympathisers who gathered to mourn the respected community leader.
Speaking during the visit, ABG expressed deep sorrow over the death of the elder statesman, describing the late Rabiu Bako as a distinguished political figure whose contributions to the growth and unity of Kaduna State would not be forgotten.
He noted that the deceased was widely admired for his wisdom, humility and unwavering commitment to peace, adding that his counsel and fatherly guidance played a significant role in shaping political discourse and community relations in the state.
According to the PDP governorship hopeful, Rabiu Bako lived a life devoted to public service and the advancement of his people, stressing that his legacy would continue to inspire future generations of leaders in Kaduna and beyond.
ABG prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the departed elder statesman and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
He urged members of the family to find solace in the impactful life their patriarch lived and in the goodwill he earned across political and social divides.
The aspirant also assured the family of his continued support during the period of mourning, emphasising the importance of solidarity and compassion in moments of grief.
Responding on behalf of the family, Hon. Sani Rabiu Bako appreciated ABG for the visit and for identifying with them at a difficult time, describing the gesture as a demonstration of true leadership and empathy.
