Andyson Egbodo emerges IYC President

Comr. Andyson Iji Egbodo on Wednesday emerged as the President of Igede Youth Council (IYC) in a peaceful conducted election at Oju Local Government Area of Benue state.

 In a statement signed by Signed Comr. Eka A’adu Dickson Chairman, Electoral Committee and made available to NATIONAL ACCORD Newspaper online, the election was a show of maturity, passion, understanding and Independence devoid of rancor,

According to him, IYC, a recognized youth organization in Igede land democratically organized her 2020 convention in the most peaceful atmosphere and painstakingly without any undue influence in the election of her leaders and ratify same in a model way that’s worthy of emulation by any youthful organization.

The major highlight of the convention was the election of the leaders to pilot the affairs of the council and those elected and sworn-in include: Comr. Andyson Iji Egbodo President, Comr. Jacob Agbo, Vice President, Comr. John Inakwu Oga Inakwu  General Secretary, Comr. Ogbu Hardy National Publicity Secretary,  Barr. Cornelius Alaje ,Legal Adviser and Comr. Matthew Solace Ikoni as Director of Special Duties.

Others are, Comr. Abraham Ochericheri Ogoh, Director of Finance, Comr. John Ogbode Frank, Auditor General, Ogbogor George  Treasurer, Comr. Ijato Benjamin Director of Socials, Comr. Peter Eje Director of Sports, Isaac Josiah Assistant Publicity Secretary, Okanga Philip Assistant Auditor General, Edo Samuel Ide Assistant Director of Socials, Grace Ogebe Assistant Director of Finance and Joe Matty Okponya as  Assistant Treasurer

According to the statement, the EXCO has been inaugurated and has started work in earnest.
