Pro Tinubu Group, Tinubu Support Group, has debunked rumours that it was contemplating on boycotting the All Progressive Congress ongoing Ward Congress across the nation.
This was disclosed in a statement released on Saturday, by the Head of Media and Publicity of the group, Oluwatosin Johnson.
The statement countered the report credited to an online outlet, Observers time. Titled: Pro Tinubu Group Direct All His Supporters Not To Participate In today’s Congresses.
“We want to debunk this erroneous information going on within the cyber space that the Leader of our great party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a party man and is in support of ongoing process for now.
“We hereby ascertain that nothing of such is ever in the minds of the leadership of our group. We are members of APC and founding members of the party as such it is not visible or thinkable for us to boycott the house we built together.
“As stakeholders, we intend to work for the success of the party in the forthcoming elections. Let it be known herewith that the top echelon of this group dissociate themselves from such report.
“We are fully committed to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress and leadership of President Buhari”
