The Chairman and Returning Officer of the APC Ward Congress Committee , Borno State, Hon. Uba Maigari Ahmadu has returned and declared the newly elected executive members of APC Mafa Central Ward.
Hon. Ahmadu made the declaration on Saturday immediately after the duly registered party members unanimously endorsed and affirmed their new exco members.
NATIONAL ACCORD reports that a total of twenty seven (27) executive members were elected for the Mafa Central Ward with Ali Churi Bukar Zama as Ward party Chairman, Gado Ka’ana as Vice Chairman and Gado Audu Sarki a.ong other members.
Hon. Ahmad said, “based on the standing rules and regulations of the party as enshrined in the APC party Constitution, the Wafa Central Ward Congress election having meant the requirements for the ward Congress consensus and affirmation of its newly elected leaders”.
” Therefore, following the unanimous acceptance and adoption of the consensus system of the election for the election of the party executive members are hereby elected, returned and declared winners of the said election “, Ahmadu said.
He advised them to be responsible and accountable to their people and adhere to the party’s constitution in the discharge of their duties as eyes of the party while congratulating them for their successful election.
Meanwhile, Governor Babagana Zulum, who witnessed the election process, commended the National Caretaker Committee members, state party exco and ward committee members of the party for conducting a successful and hitch free consensus.
He also appreciated the party members for electing their leaders in compliance with the party standing rules and policy of the ruling party, APC While appealing to the elected leaders to carry all along every one along and take the party to greater heights.
Governor Zulum assured the party’s members of his government continuous support while calling on the people to cooperate with the security agencies and those in government at the local and state levels.
Elsewhere, The Deputy Governor of Borno State, Hon.Umar Usman Kadafur has participated in the APC ward congress to elect the party executive in Biu LGA of the state.
The party committee had been inaugurated and delegated with the responsibility of conducting and supervising, monitoring the ward congress in Biu LGA, which was peacefully conducted.
The said elections was under the chairmanship of Barr. Baba Shehu Zannah and committee members – Hon. Jiddum Gana mafoni, Hon. BabaGana Kellumi Abadam, Alhaji Baba Shehu Abdulkareem and Hon.Tijjani Africana.
The party members came out enmass and peacefully participated in the ward congress in Biu.
In attendance were the executive chairman of Biu Hon. Ibrahim Haruna,Member representing Biu at State House of Assembly, Hon. Yakubu Gambo Kimba, Hon.Commissioner for Borno State Independent electoral commission (BOSIEC) Barr.Ahmadu Betara, Special Adviser on Information, Hon.Tukur Digira Mshelia, APC Chairman of Biu, Alhaji Muhammad Yusuf Anjikwe, APC party Secretary, Hon. Musa Dogo, among others.
