Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu has vowed that his ruling party would win the 2023 presidential election by defeating other parties convincingly.
Tinubu spoke on Tuesday during a one day Town Hall meeting with party’s stakeholders in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
According to him, “I am in the presidential race because the development of Nigeria is my only concern and I have the highest degree of honesty over others in the race”.
“Moving Nigeria forward is a task that must be accomplished. I am a progressive. Progressives are the ones to drive Nigeria forward. We will work with a team of visioners, intellectuals and committed ones that can build our country.”
On how he intends to fund infrastructure development promises, he said, “we will create long term money and face it squarely.”
He said: “We will change the fiscal confusion between monetary policy and fiscal policy. Be accountable, block the loopholes. Untangle the bottlenecks; make processing an accelerated processing, answer questions; timely regularization of money and treasury notes amongst others”.
