Bauchi gov appoints special assistant on unmarried women

A Special Assistant on Unmarried women has been appointed by the Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.

The Secretary to the Bauchi State Government, Sabiu Baba, stated this in an appointment letter to Balaraba Ibrahim, on Tuesday, a copy of which was obtained by our correspondent on Thursday night.

He said that the appointee would be assisting the governor on single ladies.

According to him, her appointment was based on her knowledge, experience and personal qualities. 

Baba tasked the new special assistant to utilize all her qualities in facing the challenges of her office to facilitate the attainment of the government’s collective goal and the expectation of the electorates.

The letter reads, “The appointment is based on your knowledge, experience and personal qualities of hard work, honesty and absolute loyalty.

“The terms and conditions of your appointment are as enunciated in the relevant goverment policies as applicable.

“While congratulating you on this well deserved appointment, I pray to the almighty God to guide and protect you in the discharge of the responsibilities of your new office.”

According to the SSG, the appointment is with immediate effect.
