Commissioner tasks Borno State University on educational standard

The Borno State Commissioner of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Engr. Lawan Abba Wakilbe, on Wednesday visited the Borno State University (BOSU) and urged the school authorities to maintain the standard of education.

 

He also promised to ensure more educational interventions are provided in the varsity to enable the school continue to build on the existing standards and improve in where necessary.

 

Wakilbe was received by the BOSU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Umar Kyari Sandabe and the management of the university who took the Commissioner round some facilities of the university.

 

The Commissioner commended the management of the university and urged them to build on existing standards while he promised to channel more government interventions to the university.

 

Wakilbe was accompanied by the Director of Higher Education Fatima Alh Baba, Director of quality assurance Abdullahi Hassan Kabura, among others.
