DESIRE – A PRECIOUS GIFT (Part 2), By LINDA ASIMOLE ELLAH

Focus on What You Want

Your desire is a very precious gift. You define what you want. External factors, circumstances and pressures will always be there, but within your inner sacred space, you can always define what YOU want. And the call here is to leave aside those external factors, circumstances and pressures, real as they are, and focus on what you want.
How do you focus on what you want? – Three things:

Think it, Visualize it, Feel it! So, what is it that you want? Then think about it long enough – Visualize it. Keep thinking about that situation which you want and prefer. In spite of all odds, keep that which you desire in mind. Visualize it mentally. See it happening. See it unfolding. Feel the feeling: Allow yourself to feel the feeling you would have when it all gets done as you want. Start to nurse that feeling. Do you desire a car? How would you feel like when you actually have that car? Enter into that feeling and let it envelope you. Feel the joy of having gotten it already. Hahaha, have you ever experienced the joy of getting something that you are yet to get? The feeling isn’t any different from when you actually get it, you know. You can indeed feel the very same feeling. And that’s a great way to create it fast.

Talk about what you want: How do you desire something, yet you continue to use words to paint a picture of that which you do not want. I desire to have much money again in my purse and in my bank account. I would not at every opportunity talk about how my purse is empty, things are expensive, how I spent my last money on this and that and how I don’t know where to get the next amount from or how the account is reading zero. Rather, I will talk about the abundance I have and that I am already experiencing. I will talk about all the good things I have and let that feeling of abundance linger in my words instead.

Follow the Action and Relax: Act and Relax. You will feel inspired to do something regarding what you desire: With desire comes action. The action may be as simple as “stop worrying” “stop thinking” “Relax!”. Or an idea comes to you your mind, and there, you jump at it. Inspiration will come to you. Doors will open; some one will bring help, support, something will happen. But you must BELIEVE (acting in faith) AND RELAX!

When you think, feel and talk about that which you want, you literally call it into your reality. The speed at which it happens or does not happen again depends on how much you believe it is real.

Every Desire has Consequences/Results/Outcomes

Then, you could talk about positive or negative desire, good or evil desire. Yet note that what ever the qualification of the desire, it follows the same process. Someone nurses an evil desire. They think about it, feel the feeling that comes with it and they execute an action towards it. Yes, this will certainly affect the object of your desire, be it a person, a situation, a group of people, a relationship, or a cause. For example, rape or murder. You’ve desired it and have executed it.

However, note this point. The first and foremost person who bears the consequences of your desire is YOUR VERY SELF. Every action we take comes right back at us. It is how the universe, nature is. Even when there are temporary gains, you will not be able to enjoy the joy of those benefits. Peace and joy fly out the window.

Everything in nature and in the universe is perfect and complete, tied to one another and complements everything else. Any shift or dent in the complete circle will naturally make up for itself. If the dent or the shift in nature or the universe comes from you, the shift will balance itself off around you. So, let the dent and shift you orchestrate be positive for your good and for the good of others.

This is why the desire to get rich or gain something, using all means possible – fraud, changing figures, using public funds for private gains, exaggerating figures for personal gains and for benefits of cronies, taking shortcuts to avoid bureaucracy, sex for grades, cash for grades, and many other very common unethical actions and behaviours, seen with both young and older generations – are negative dents in the universe that will certainly seek to balance itself back around you. Hence, repercussions and consequences flow naturally from all actions and deeds.

Always remember that after all the cheating and deception, you are usually your first victim. Your desires and action build around you what you have called for, and what you have given out to the universe.

You may desire good for someone and indeed good comes to the person through your hands or through other means. However, your good desire bounces back to you in one way or the other. Remember, when you desire something, you create it. You create it for yourself, even that which you desire for others. You also create that for yourself.

“When you help others get what they want, you are primarily and ultimately helping yourself get what you want.” – LinEllah

Keep this in mind; if you really don’t’ want something, don’t force it and don’t focus on it. Let it pass. Let it go. That which you really desire and want to create will come. This is also to say, if you are not excited about it, then it is likely not the right path (this is irrespective of whatever it is and what others may say about it).

In Conclusion – Three things

Be able to sieve through external factors, circumstances and pressures and KNOW WHAT YOU WANT.
Use the power of your desire to CREATE POSITIVE THINGS for yourself and for others.
Be ready to LIVE WITH THE CONSEQUENCES, results, and outcomes of your desire, which in turn will give rise to other desires.
