Divine Jubilation College of Health Technology Masaka matriculates 100 students

About 100 students of Divine Jubilation College of Health Technology, Masaka in Karu local government area of Nasarawa State, have been matriculated with a charged on them to shun all forms of social vices that will dent the reputation of the institution.


The 4th matriculation ceremony, which was held at the school Auditorium, over the weekend, was graced by many dignitaries from all walks of life.

The matriculated students were from environmental health, medical Laboratory, dental health and other departments.

Administering the oath of allegiance to the new students, the Chief Registrar of the college, Mercy David, enjoined the matriculating students to adhere strictly to the guidelines that govern the conduct of the college.

The Registrar who noted that the students were admitted based on merit, advised them to work towards their future, just as she assured them of a conducive learning environment.

Overwhelmed with the cooperation of the staff towards ensuring quality education for the students, the founder and chief executive of the college, Evangelist Glory Kemi Ishola, called on them to sustain the spirit of togetherness to enable them succeed.

Kemi Ishola, Charged the students to be steadfast in all that they do to enable them build their future and the community at large.

“I am charging you to be steadfast and not to compromise while carrying out your study. To the patents, we appreciate your efforts too by supporting the education of your children, you should also be steadfast to enable you succeed,” Ishola said.

On their parts, the Director and the Provost of the college, Dr. Babatunde Ogedengbe and Josiah Ishola, said the matriculation ceremony was one of the academic programmes of the college aimed at affirming the students as true members of the school, and advised them to abide by the rules and regulations to enable them be good ambassadors of the college wherever they find themselves.

According to them, the college has graduated its first set with best results while the second set are preparing for their National examination and applauded them for their excellent performances.

Some students  interviewed: Asagh Delight Doowuese, Hadiza Inuwa and Victoria Yakubu, appreciated the management of the college for finding them worthy of admission and promised to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Hight points at the event were the recognition of a student, Asagh Delight Doowuese, as the best performing students in the first semester as well as the celebration by the students and the staff.
