El-Kanemi Warriors FC drops 7 players ahead 2021 Season

The incoming Chairman of  El-kanemi Warriors Football Club of Maiduguri, Alhaji Sheriff Bukar, has directed the technical Crew of the team to drop or oan out players that are not needed by the team for the upcoming football season. 

The directive was given on Thursday during  a consultative meeting with the  club coaches in Maiduguri as part of his efforts to rejuvenate the Borno Ambassadors to have a solid team that can gain promotion at the end of the season.

A statement issued Friday by  Tahir Bala, the Media Officer of the Club in Maiduguri said  the Technical Adviser,  Coach Babaganaru has already given the Chairman a list of seven players with more names to be given after further assessment by the Warriors gaffer. 

Already Coach Babaganaru has invited some prominent footballers which El kanemi intended to finally release their names along with the additional players that will be dropped  soon.

The statement added that rafter the appointment of the incoming Board Members  of  the El kanemi Warriors, by the Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum the hope of supporters of the team was rekindled.

It further explained that  without waste of time , the Chairman and his team have  started some concrete moves to come up with a formidable squad in conjunction with the technical men.

 While all the dropped players according to the Chairman , Alhaji Sheriff will bid the club good bye, having collected their September salaries. 

“Prompt payment of salary, is a known tradition of the Government of Professor Babagana Umara Zulum which has done creditably well by paying the salaries of players and officials of Elkanemi even in the face of the COVID-19 Pandemic” , The chairman proudly emphasized.

The Warriors Chairman who is currently making wider consultations is scheduled to meet various stakeholders next week with a view to further cement  the existing cordial relationships between them and the club.
