Evicted BBNaija housemate, Kayikunmi
Oluwakayikunmi Ajibade, popularly known as Kayikunmi, a recently evicted housemate from Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10, has shared how his relationship with fellow housemate Isabella shaped his experience in the house.
In an exclusive interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday, the 25-year-old from Ekiti State revealed that his quieter personality was often overshadowed by Isabella’s vibrant presence.
Kayikunmi explained that their contrasting personalities impacted how others perceived him.
“In any relationship, one person tends to stand out more. Isabella was much louder and more outgoing, while I was calm and reserved,” he said.
He noted that Isabella’s bold demeanor, which didn’t resonate with some housemates, indirectly affected his interactions.
“Because not everyone liked Isabella, many housemates were hesitant to connect with me. They’d say things like, ‘I don’t want trouble,’ which made it hard for people to know me for who I am,” he added.
Despite these challenges, Kayikunmi remained philosophical about his experience.
“It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, but that’s just how it played out. No use dwelling on what’s done,” he remarked, accepting the situation with grace.
According to NAN, Big Brother Naija Season 10 kicked off with a two-day premiere on July 26 and 27.
Kayikunmi and another housemate, Otega, were evicted from the show on Sunday, August 18.
