Former General Manager, Legal Services of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Innocent Eremionkhale, Esq, has dismissed reports suggesting that his departure from the agency was linked to internal crisis or disagreements within the organisation.
His reaction follows a publication by Sahara Reporters, alleging mass resignations at the Fund, reportedly triggered by tensions between staff and management.
Eremionkhale, however, said the narrative was inaccurate and did not reflect the circumstances of his exit, insisting he was not part of any staff resignation linked to conflict within the agency.
“I was not among any staff members who resigned from the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund as a result of any disagreement, dispute, conflict, or misunderstanding with the Managing Director/CEO or management,” he said.
He maintained that his relationship with the management of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund remained professional throughout his tenure as General Manager, Legal Services.
“At no time did I have any disagreement or dispute with the Managing Director that influenced my decision to leave,” he added.
Eremionkhale stressed that his exit was voluntary and driven purely by personal career considerations, particularly his decision to return to private legal practice after years in public service.
“My exit from the NSITF was entirely voluntary and motivated by my personal career aspirations and desire to return to private legal practice,” he said.
He cautioned against linking his departure to any form of managerial crisis or workplace disagreement, noting that such claims were misleading.
“Any report suggesting my departure was connected to workplace conflict or management issues is not correct,” he said.
The former NSITF legal chief insisted his clarification was necessary to set the record straight and prevent further misrepresentation of the facts surrounding his exit.
