The member representing Enugu state in the Federal Character Commission, Hon Ginika Tor-Ijomah has congratulated Sen. George Akume over his appointment as secretary to the government of the federation.
Hon Ginika praised President Bola Tinubu for the choice of Sen Akume as she described Akume as a person with all the prerequisite to be SGF having been former governor, senator and minister.
She said the appointment of is part of the fulfillment of the promises made by the president during his campaign across the Nation to carry every Nigerians along to strengthen it’s unity.
Ginika made the call during her visit to the newly appointed SGF in his residence in Abuja on Friday.
She urged Sen Akume to reciprocate the good gesture by rising above board and deploying all his wealth of experience to manage government activities for better productivity.
While appreciating the president for the appointment, she further said the people of Nigeria are behind him as he work to deliver the dividend of democracy to the Nation.
