The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has called on individual philanthropists and other corporate organizations to support Kano Pillars Football Club through philanthropic activities and corporate social responsibility.
The Governor made the call when he received a donation of Bus Coaster to Kano Pillars from Abdulkarim Abdussalam Zaura (AA Zaura).
Governor Ganduje thanked Zaura for the kind gesture and requested other wealthy individuals and corporate organizations to take a leaf from Zaura generosity.
“I hope other wealthy individuals will copy AA Zaura and contribute for continuous development of our beloved football club, Kano Pillars” Gov. Ganduje stated.
Chairman, Kano Pillars, Surajo Shu’aibu Yahaya who was represented by Surayya Baba Aminu applauded the foresight of A.A zaura for the donation, and appeal to other philanthropist to emulate the gesture.
In his brief remarks, Zaura thanked Governor Ganduje for his support to youth development and unrelenting commitment in making sure that, youth become forces to be reckoned with in his administration.
Zaura assured the Governor that such gesture would be sustained.
