
Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed

No fewer than 17 Special Advisers have been appointed by the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, the State Government has disclosed.
The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Bauchi State Governor, Muhktar Gidado, said this in a press release made available to journalists in the State on Tuesday.
According to him, those appointed are highly accomplished and dedicated professionals who will provide guidance and support in key government operations.
He said that the appointees are expected to bring their wealth of experience to bear in performing their respective roles.
“To re-invigorate the machinery of Government and further strengthen the administration’s commitment to delivering on his promises and enhancing good governance, His Excellency, Sen. Bala Mohammed, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State has approved the appointment of distinguished, highly accomplished and dedicated professionals to serve as his Special Advisers to provide guidance and support in key areas of Government operations.
“The appointees are expected to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to bear on their respective roles with a view to ensuring that the state government can effectively address the diverse needs of its citizens,” he said.
Gdado said the newly appointed Special Advisers and their respective portfolios are as follows:
Ahmed Chiroma – Chief Security Adviser, Security; Bakoji Bobbo – State and National Assembly liaison; Abdon Gin – Civil Service matters; Zainab Rufa’i – Non-Governmental Organizations; Adamu Soro – Housing; Asmau Giade – Culture and Tourism; Hashimu Kumbala – General Service and Administration; Mohammed Bello – Multilateral Services; Isa Tilde – Local Government Affairs; and Mahmood Abubakar – Engineering and Projects.
Others are: Shehu Wadaji – Pilgrims Affairs; Monica Musa – Poverty Alleviation; Yohanna Yashi – Lands and Survey; Iliyasu Gital – Agriculture; Adamu Gabarin; Health; Abdullahi Badejo; Farmers and Herders Matters and Adamu Zakari – Education.
He said that the appointments take immediate effect.
