Governor Zulum inaugurating the State's Rural Electrification Board (REB) and Guidance and Counselling Commission at the Government House Council Chamber, in Maiduguiri
-Swears in new Special Adviser, Permanent Secretary-

Borno state Governor, Babagana Zulum has inaugurated chairperson and members of the newly established Career Guidance and Counselling Board and that of Rural Electrification Board (REB).
While inauguratimg the board members at the Government House, Maiduguri, Governor Zulum explained that the establishment of the new board was to ensure all employment quota accrued to Borno were appropriately filled by competent indigines and to also guide applicants in the process of job application.
The Governor also presided over the swearing in of a new Special Adviser, Alhaji Bakari Ali Kotoko, a former Chairman of Maiduguri Metropolitan and a new Permanent Secretary to The State Civil Service, Engr. Ali Goni Lawan.
Earlier, in his inaugural address, Governor Zulum also announced the appointment of Engr. Jacob Tari as the new Managing Director of the state Rural Electrification Board.
Oath of Office was administered by the representative of the State Chief Judge, Justice Aisha Ndume, while the Governor presided over the event.
In his vote of thanks, the newly Sworn Chairman of the Guidance and Counseling Commission, Engineer Mohammed Kachallah. on behalf of the new members, expressed appreciation to Governor Zulum for finding them worthy of their appointment.
