Iran's Chief Justice Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei
Iran’s Chief Justice Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei has vowed to swiftly punish anyone collaborating with Israel, warning of “harshest punishment” for those found guilty.
“Without leniency and with full determination, they will face the harshest punishment in accordance with the applicable laws and with the utmost urgency,” he said.
Cooperation with Israel or foreign intelligence services is punishable by death in Iran.
Mohseni-Ejei ordered immediate trials and swift punishment for those accused of such connections, especially during the current war situation.
This warning comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, with recent airstrikes and retaliatory exchanges. Iran has already executed several individuals convicted of spying for Israel, including a man recently found guilty of “waging war against God and corruption on Earth” under Islamic law.
