
The one storey building donated by Keffi Old Boys Association (KOBA Set 23) to Federal Government College Keffi.

Students that graduated from Government College, Keffi in Nasarawa State, from 1971-1975 code named ‘KOBA set 23’, who were worried with the deplorable infrastructure of the college, have recently renovated a one-storey building in the school and handed it to the principal for use by the students.
Speaking during the handing over ceremony which took place at the college’s premises and witnessed by other prominent members of the Association, the set Chairman, Mr. Benedict Dimgba, who handed over the building to the KOBA National President, Engr. Edward Ujege, said it is part of their modest contribution to ensure that the College regain her lost glory in terms of infrastructure and promised to do more if resources permit them.
Receiving the beautiful edifice on behalf of the national president, the National Secretary of KOBA, Mr. Sam Israel commended members of set 23 for their kind gesture and advised other sets to do same as infrastructure in the school are in complete state of decay.
In his remarks, The principal of the college, Mr. Audu Ohimeje, thanked members of the old students for thier kind gesture and prayed that God should reward them abundantly.
Mr. Ohimeje called on others in positions of responsibility to come to the aid of the school as most of the facilities in the school are in a complete state of decay.
On her part, The Commissioner for Education in Nasarawa State, Hajia Fati Jimeta who spoke through the principal, said the state has over 400 public schools and the resources are scarce to cater for them all.
She therefore, urged old students of other schools in the state to take example from KOBA Set 23 and do same to their former schools.
