
Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas

Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas has inaugurated an advisory committee for the full implementation of the Local Government autonomy in the state.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS) Mr. Yusuf Sanda, who disclosed this in a statement issued to NATIONAL ACCORD on Sunday in Jalingo, stressed that the decision is taking in pursuant of the recent judgment of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
The seven man committee according to the statement is headed by Rt. Hon. Abel Peter Diah, member representing Mbamnga State Constituency, and Chairman Taraba State House of Assembly (TSHOA) Committee on Local Government and Traditional Affairs, is to serve as chairman.
Meanwhile, the committee Secretary for the implementation of the Local Government Autonomy in Taraba State is Mr. Ezekiel Polycarp.
Others are: Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps, who is the Secretary to the Government of Taraba State as member, while Barr. Yakubu Maikasuwa, SAN, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Alh. Hassan Aminu, ALGON Chairman Taraba State, Lilian Jonathan, Director Inspectorate BLG & CA, s well as Mr. Bala Hussein would serve as members of the committee.
