Man Utd vs Liverpool: How Man City could be crowned EPL champions on Sunday

Manchester City could be confirmed Premier League champions, 24 hours after they beat Crystal Palace.

Sergio Aguero and Ferran Torres both scored for the leaders, as they claimed a 2-0 win at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The victory leaves them on the verge of reclaiming their crown from Liverpool.

City’s 2-0 win at Crystal Palace has taken them to 80 points, 13 clear of closest rivals Manchester United.

United welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford on Super Sunday.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team can only get a maximum of 82 points if they win all their remaining fixtures.

If United lose to Liverpool, Guardiola’s men would regain the Premier League trophy with four games left.

A United draw would also effectively secure the title for City, because Solskjaer’s side would only be able to reach 80 points and City have a vastly superior goal difference.
