Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has eliminated over 15 terrorists through precise airstrikes targeting a newly discovered hideout west of Zuwa in the Sambisa Forest, Borno State.
NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, shared details of the operation in a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja.
According to Ejodame, the airstrikes, conducted on Wednesday as part of Operation Hadin Kai, were prompted by reliable intelligence and surveillance confirming the hideout’s role as a base for fighters and commanders orchestrating recent attacks near Bitta.
“The precision strikes obliterated critical terrorist infrastructure and delivered substantial casualties,” Ejodame stated, underscoring the mission’s success.
He emphasized the NAF’s commitment to supporting ground forces and protecting Nigerians, adding, “Each successful operation like this weakens terrorist networks and advances our nation toward enduring peace.”
The mission showcased the NAF’s professionalism and resolve in dismantling threats to national security.
