Nasarawa varsity to hold 6th combined convocation ceremony Thursday

The Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has commenced series of activities leading to the hosting of the 6th combined convocation ceremony which comes up on Thursday, March 30th, 2022.

Briefing members of the university”s alumni and other members of the public, the Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, Professor Suleiman Bala Muhammed said the university had on Friday March 25th, lined up sequence of activities beginning with a novelty football match between the Vice-Chancellor” team and the Registrar’s team which was followed by a round table discussion.

He said the engagement with members of the University’s Alumni was to commend them for the wonderful works they have been doing and the cordial relationship that exists between them and the university and urged them to expand on the aspects of infrastructural development.

Prof. Bala Muhammed, who used the occasion to showcase the achievements of his administration as the 5th VC of NSUK, said the institution has four campuses with the faculty of Agriculture located in Lafia, while the Engineering Faculty is cited in Gudi.

He said a befitting Senate building is 90 percent completion and will soon be handed over to the university.

The VC further commended the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETfund) for providing funds for the provision of major infrastructures in the campus.
