Nigeria 103 new Coronavirus cases

Nigeria on Thursday recorded 103 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections across 13 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This brings to 59,841 the total number of infections in the country since the outbreak of the CIVID-19 pandemic.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which announced this on its official Twitter handle NCDC@NCDCgov, added that a total of 51,551 people had so far been treated and discharged from hospital.

In the Twitter update, the NCDC further said that a total of 1,113 deaths arising from coronavirus complications, had so far been recorded in the country since the novel disease broke out

It gave the breakdown of the 103 infections as follows: Lagos-39, Rivers-21, FCT-19, Oyo-6, Kaduna-4. Bauchi-3, Ogun-3, Imo-2, Kano-2, Benue-1, Edo-1, Nasarawa-1, and Plateau-1.
