Nigeria 143 new COVID-19 cases

Nigeria continued to record fewer number of COVID-19 infections as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Centre (NCDC) said it confirmed 143 cases on Monday.

The health agency made this known in late night post on its official twitter handle @NCDCgov, adding that the day’s record brought the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 54,008, with 41,638 discharged and 1,013 deaths.

 

 

 

According to the NCDC, of the 143 cases recorded on Monday, Plateau state topped with 35, followed by  Kaduna-21,  Lagos-19, and the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT)-13.

Other cases came from Ebonyi-9,  Adamawa-7, Enugu-7, Katsina-7, Edo-6, Kwara-5, Osun-3, Anambra-2, Kano-2, Niger-2, Ogun-2, Benue-1, Borno-1, and Sokoto.
