Nigeria Vs Mexico: Musa, Chukwueze, Sanusi, others withdraw from Super Eagles squad

Super Eagles' players

Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, Samuel Chukwueze and Zaidu Sanusi have withdrawn from the friendly match against Mexico.

Three other players; Samson Tijani, Alhassan Yusuf, and Azubuike Okechukwu will also not feature in the game due to various reasons.

Defender Leon Balogun has also been ruled out of the friendly against the North Americans due to a calf injury.

Balogun sustained the injury in his club, Ranger’s Scottish Cup win against Hearts last weekend.

Visa hitches, injuries, and club commitments forced the players to withdraw from the game.

It would be recalled that Emmanuel Dennis, Maduka Okoye, and Umar Sadiq pulled out of the game and the clash against Ecuador early in the week.

The trio has been replaced by; Terem Moffi, Adeleye Adeleke, and Innocent Bonke.
