Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) have dealt another blow to Boko Haram elements after storming suspected terrorist hideouts in the Bula Daloye cluster of Borno State, killing several fighters and recovering a cache of weapons and explosives.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the raid was launched around 5:00 p.m. on November 18, 2025, by operatives of the 21 Special Armoured Battalion working alongside local volunteer forces.
The soldiers reportedly closed in on the first objective, but the terrorists scattered the moment they caught sight of the advancing troops.

Refusing to be deterred, the team pushed deeper into the area, sweeping a three-kilometre radius where they uncovered fresh signs of militant activity across multiple locations. A fierce gun duel followed.
Several terrorists were neutralised, while others abandoned their positions and fled into the surrounding terrain. All structures identified as insurgent hideouts were subsequently destroyed.
During the operation, one military vehicle struck an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), injuring two members of the hybrid forces. They were promptly stabilised by on-site medics, and no fatalities were recorded among the troops.

The sweep of the area yielded a significant haul: five AK-47 rifles, six magazines, 67 rounds of 7.62x39mm ammunition, two motorcycles, a Dane gun, and a bicycle. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit also located and safely detonated four additional IEDs, preventing future attacks.
The successful operation marks yet another coordinated push to dismantle remaining Boko Haram cells in the region.
