A suspect on handcuff

The Sokoto State Police Command has paraded a 65 years old man, identified as Ibrahim Adamu Magana for allegedly defiling two minors aged 10 and 9 within Sokoto Cinema area of Sokoto North LGA of the state.
Narrating the incident that led to Magana’s arrest, the State Police Command’s spokesperson, ASP Sanusi Abubakar said the suspect used gifts as bait to lure the kids into his room where he allegedly defiled them.
“The two minors testified that the 65 years old Magana often entice them with gift into his room while he is naked and have his way into them”.
“But the cat was let out of the bag when the victims complained to their parents of severe itching around their private parts which led to a medical examination at Nana Khafija Hospital in the State”.
“The medical reports revealed that the two minors have been defiled multiple times”.
ASP Abubakar, however, maintained that the suspect has admitted to committing the crime.
He further noted that suspect would be charged to court once investigation is completed.
